My not so exciting life......

Well, I pretty much feel as though we have settled into a what I like to call a rutt......I know I tend to complain when life gets "too" busy but I actually think I prefer it that way.  Lately, life consists of a lot of going to work and then coming home, sleeping, going back to work, etc.    Of course, I am getting really pregnant so that keeps life a little interesting.  Garrett and I seem to keep working opposite schedules....I think he is doing well.

We did drive to Chapel Hill to get Garrett a new car yesterday.  Some of you may be thinking, didn't Garrett just get a new car a few months ago???  And yes, he did.  However, we bought his car in June....4 months before we found out we were pregnant. So, we bought him a Honda Fit....which we loved, but it is sort of an itty bitty car.  The price was right and with gas at $5 a gallon it seemed like a great purchase.  Over the past week we began to realize that our itty bitty fuel efficient car may not be the best for a family with a baby and a dog that will more than likely be traveling a lot.  So, we traded the Fit for and Element.  It was an even trade so we felt good about it.  And, I think that Garrett is secretly loving it.....hence the picture below.
Other than that....not too much going on.  I will post pictures of the nursery soon.  I have also had several requests for pictures of my expanding belly....I will have to think about that one.  Below are some pictures that some up our life recently.  Garrrett and the dog cuddling/sleeping on the couch, and me and my friend Kelly watching our husbands play video games....that alone could sum up my life!!!!!   Hope everyone is doing well.

People kept on asking me for pictures of my belly, and I never agreed until the night before I went into the hospital. I figured at that point, it was okay to be huge. I think people like to see you gain weight, but after Leah sent pictures when she only gained like 12 lbs (the whole pregnancy), I refused to send any of me and my 44 lb weight gain! What I'm saying is, I can understand why you are apprehensive.

Enjoy these days, it may seem like a rutt now, but your life is about to change forever. Many new and very exciting changes are before you. Rest, relax, and enjoy each other while you can.

Don't you think it'd be cool to take a weekly shot of you (and your belly) and be able to show everyone the amazingness of getting more and more preggers? You could make a flip book for each Reed as they come along. I dunno. Maybe I'm the only rational person here...
